Luo Han Guo Extract, Saimonoside I

Saimonoside I is a rare glycoside derived from luo han guo, a specialty crop native to Guangxi. It is the sweetest compound found in luo han guo, but its concentration in the fruit is extremely low (approximately 0.1%, which is roughly 5% of the luo hanoside V content). Currently, most of the Saimonoside I available on the market is produced through microbial fermentation or via directed catalytic biosynthesis using specific active enzymes.

Production Capacity:

We now have our own organic farming bases for luohan fruit, sweet tea, Chinese cork tree, and Japanese knotweed.

Advantages

It has no aftertaste such as that of stevioside or glycyrrhizin; it has a mild, moderate sweetness with a smooth aftertaste, and its sweetness profile is similar to that of sucrose, with no noticeable off-flavors.
