Introduction :
The tangerine is an orange-colored citrus fruit which is closely related to the mandarin orange. Tangerines are smaller than common oranges, and are usually easier to peel and to split into segments. The taste is considered less sour, but sweeter and stronger, than that of an orange.Tangerine dried peel contains a lot of vitamin A, it`s a kind of traditional Chinese medicine. Hesperidin is a flavanone glycoside found abundantly in citrus fruits. Hesperidin is believed to play a role in plant defense. It's soluble in pyridine, sodium hydroxide solution, soluble in DMF, slightly soluble in methanol and hot glacial acetic acid, and very slightly soluble in ethyl ether, acetone, chloroform and benzene. It's odourless and tasteless and 1g goods dissolves in 50 L water.
